食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)澳新食品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)局（FSAMZ）消息，11月9日澳新食品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)局發(fā)布通告，批準(zhǔn)轉(zhuǎn)基因棉花GHB811產(chǎn)品用于食品。該轉(zhuǎn)基因棉花能同時(shí)抗兩種農(nóng)藥，分別為異惡唑草酮、草甘膦。
據(jù)了解，本次申請(qǐng)由拜耳作物公司提交。澳新食品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)局經(jīng)過風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估認(rèn)為，在現(xiàn)有數(shù)據(jù)的基礎(chǔ)之上，將轉(zhuǎn)基因棉花GHB811產(chǎn)品用于食品，其安全性與普通棉花相當(dāng)，因此批準(zhǔn)其應(yīng)用。

Food Standards Australia New Zealand （FSANZ） received an Application from Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd requesting a variation to Schedule 26 in the Australia New Zealand
Food Standards Code （the Code） to include food derived from a new genetically modified （GM） cotton （Gossypium hirsutum） line, GHB811. This cotton line has been genetically modified for dual-herbicide tolerance to glyphosate and isoxaflutole.
The primary objective of FSANZ in developing or varying a food regulatory measure, as stated in section 18 of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 （FSANZ Act）， is the protection of public health and safety. Accordingly, the safety assessment is a central part of considering an application.
