食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊    據(jù)外媒報道，安大略州食品銀行協(xié)會（ontario Association of Food Banks）2015年報告顯示，過去一年光顧食品銀行的年長者人數(shù)增加35%，獲取該服務(wù)的單身人數(shù)破紀(jì)錄。

    報道指出，造成人們求助食品銀行的主要原因是就業(yè)不穩(wěn)定情況增長、生活成本增長和社會援助計劃不足。

    報告稱，單身年長者每月最高只能領(lǐng)取1342.78元的政府津貼，這導(dǎo)致他們生活“越來越容易陷入貧困”。

    同時報告還提到，生活開支不斷上升，在過去一年中，新鮮水果和蔬菜的價格上漲了超過6%，新鮮和冷凍肉的價格上漲了10.7%。食品銀行使用者平均將超過70%的收入花費在住房上。

    “I can relate,” he told his colleagues. “That's my own mother.”

    ontario has seen a 35 per cent jump in the number of senior citizens visiting food banks over the past year, according to the ontario Association of Food Banks' 2015 report, and the highest number on record of single people accessing the service.
