食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊  據(jù)歐盟食品安全局消息，7月16日歐盟食品安全局就β-丙氨酸增強短期、高強度鍛煉中體能表現(xiàn)的健康聲稱發(fā)表科學意見。

    歐盟食品安全局專家組對相關(guān)的研究進行分析發(fā)現(xiàn)，11篇相關(guān)的研究當中僅有1篇能支持β-丙氨酸的健康聲稱。因此專家組認為，β-丙氨酸的消費和增強短期、高強度鍛煉中體能表現(xiàn)之間不能建立因果聯(lián)系。

    Following an application from Natural Alternative International, Inc. （NAI）， submitted pursuant to Article 13（5） of Regulation （EC） No 1924/2006 via the Competent Authority of the United Kingdom, the Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies （NDA） was asked to deliver an opinion on the scientific substantiation of a health claim related to beta-alanine and increase in physical performance during short-duration, high-intensity exercise.

    The Panel considers that an increase in physical performance during short-duration, high-intensity exercise is a beneficial physiological effect. In weighing the evidence the Panel took into account that only one out of 11 pertinent human intervention studies （including 14 pertinent outcomes） from which conclusions could be drawn showed an effect of beta-alanine on physical performance during short-duration, high intensity exercise.
