食品伙伴網(wǎng)訊  據(jù)歐盟食品安全局消息，應(yīng)孟山都公司申請(qǐng)，6月17日歐盟食品安全局就抗除草劑轉(zhuǎn)基因油菜MON88302投放市場(chǎng)發(fā)表科學(xué)意見。

    歐盟專家組分別開展了毒理學(xué)評(píng)估以及環(huán)境風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估。

    經(jīng)評(píng)估，專家組發(fā)現(xiàn)，轉(zhuǎn)基因油菜MON 88302與傳統(tǒng)對(duì)照食品及非轉(zhuǎn)基因商業(yè)油菜品種在對(duì)人類和動(dòng)物健康以及環(huán)境的潛在影響方面一樣安全，無(wú)安全風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。

    Following the submission of an application （EFSA-GMO-BE-2011-101） under Regulation （EC） No 1829/2003 from Monsanto, the Panel on Genetically Modified Organisms of the European Food Safety Authority （EFSA GMO Panel） was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the safety of herbicide-tolerant genetically modified （GM） oilseed rape （Brassica napus L.） MON 88302 （Unique Identifier MON-883?2-9）。 The scope of application EFSA-GMO-BE-2011-101 is for import, processing, and food and feed uses of oilseed rape MON 88302 within the European Union （EU） in the same way as any non-GM oilseed rape, but excludes cultivation in the EU.

    In delivering its scientific opinion, the EFSA GMO Panel took into account application EFSA-GMO-BE-2011-101, additional information provided by the applicant, scientific comments submitted by the Member States and relevant scientific publications. In conclusion, the EFSA GMO Panel considers that the oilseed rape MON 88302, as described in this application, is as safe as its conventional counterpart and non-GM oilseed rape commercial varieties, and is unlikely to have adverse effects on human and animal health and the environment in the context of the scope of this application.
